We made it to the bus in plenty of time - they were happy as could be to hop on the bus and go. I am a little nervous about Abbie riding the bus on her first full day. I really hope Nate keeps his word to help her get to class. Today - no tears from anyone - just a hug & a kiss an "I love you & I'll see you later" and they were off.At first I was irritated that Nate woke Kassie up before they went to school, but now I'm grateful - I think I need the distraction - it feels very strange having both of the big kids gone all day, the house feels strangely empty. I'm also grateful that the rain stopped and the sun came out for our first day to walk to the bus, the rainy days will come soon enough - it was a beautiful sunny morning.
